Heider is Now on Facebook and Twitter!

Go like Heider at https://www.facebook.com/CUHeider, and follow Heider at http://www.twitter.com/CUHeider. The staff is planning to use these resources for hall announcements (i.e. water shut-offs) rather than continually filling resident email inboxes.

Heider Bracketology

Congrats to sophomore Cat Bart for winning Heider’s Bracketology challenge, and for being in the 88.7th percentile nationally. The honor of coming in dead last goes to RA Erik Gustafson.

CU After Dark: Family Fun Center XL

The Department of Residence Life is sponsoring this weeks installment of CU After Dark, featuring the new Family Fun Center XL on Friday (22nd). Buses will run in a constant loop from Degleman Circle, and there’ll be special deals on food and activities for CU students! Check Student News or talk to a Heider staff member with further questions!

Iron Chef Creighton

The Heider RHC put on a great event tonight! Here are a few pictures of what went on! Congrats to Hannah Meyers and Robert Sheran for winning.

Bingo with Seven Oaks

A group went to our community partner, Seven Oaks of Florence, to play Bingo with the residents. Suffice to say, they take it pretty seriously.

If you want to join Heider on a future trip to Seven Oaks, contact our Service, Faith, and Jusice coordinator, Elizabeth Spurney.

New Toys

Over break, Heider has been getting some improvements! First up was the workout room, which had gotten new equipment (don’t worry, not everything is in it’s final place yet).

Heider’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Only three more of weeks of school, and another 1.5 until Christmas! The Heider staff is getting into the spirit, as well as a few residents already. There are a few decorating guidelines, which have been posted on the lobby white board, but they’re fairly simple. The most important thing to remember is look for UL listings on lights…that covers most of the guidelines, but make sure to look at the full list, too!
